First, there's a big need for artificial limbs in 3rd world countries. In places like Cambodia, one in every 236 people is an amputee. These people struggle for three reasons:
- Daily tasks become more difficult because they lack ease of mobility.
- Work is extremely difficult to find for an amputee--3rd world countries are manual labor intensive.
- Earnings are often less than $500 per year and no one can save up the $10,000 - $15,000 needed for a new prosthetic leg.

Mozy Shoes LLC would like to be the financial "power house" for 2ft Prosthetics. In other words, we plan to earn enough money from shoe sales that 2ft Prosthetics doesn't have to rely on donations and fundraisers to further its cause. Starting a new clinic can be expensive--we have to send a prosthetist (a professional) who can teach technicians how to build the leg, materials to get started with, and volunteers to help get things going. With your help though, we'll be able to start a new clinic in no time.
